​Membership course

You can learn a series of techniques from molding to glazing using hand-forming and electric potter's wheel techniques.​As this is also a class that deals with lacquer, the target audience is 18 years or older.Also, if you have taken the ​ course 4 to 8 times a month for 12 months or more, you can make your debut as an instructor at the pottery class Chilcoro. (Practical test required)​​

​《Program》

 *The first program is only available from September to November, but after that it will be an independent curriculum.

◾️September (1st month) -Hand-building course-

Week 1: Orien/Chawan (bead making)

2nd week: Orien teacup (string making)

3rd week: Sharpening, attaching handles, clay management

Week 4: Sharpening, attaching handles, clay management

◾️October (2nd month) -Glaze course-

Week 1: File, glaze, continue work

2nd week: File, glaze, continue work

Week 3: Making a plate (tatara)

Week 4: Making molded vessels (tatara)

◾️November (3rd month) -Potter's wheel training-

Week 1: Chrysanthemum kneading, soil killing, molding (3 pieces)

2nd week: Chrysanthemum kneading, soil killing, molding (3 pieces)

3rd week: Sharpening, clay management

Week 4: Sharpening, clay management

*We will provide individual potter's wheel instruction to anyone interested after August, after the first program has finished.

​Fees

Admission fee / 11,000 yen (tax included)

Monthly fee / twice a month: 11,000 yen (5,500 yen/time)

   Three times a month: 14,700 yen (4,900 yen/time)

4 times a month: 18,000 yen (4,500 yen/time)

  6 times a month: 24,000 yen (4,000 yen/time)

  8 times a month: 30,400 yen (3,800 yen/time)

*Separately, you will need to purchase a tool set (3,500 yen) and clay ticket (15,000 yen/10 lessons) at the time of your first class.

​Time: 09:30-11:30 (held only on Thursdays and Saturdays)

   18:00-20:00 (held only on Mondays)

*The area around Komazawa-Daigaku Station is crowded, so please arrive with plenty of time to spare.

■Children over 3 years old can take this class.
(Children under elementary school age must be accompanied by one guardian.)

■Please make a reservation for one child.
(However, children under 5 years old can work together with their parents. In that case, please make a reservation for one parent and child.)

■If your child is an elementary school student or younger, please be sure to indicate so in the notes section.

■Actual production time will be approximately 40 minutes.

■Please arrive 5 minutes before your reservation time. (If you are coming from the station, please allow plenty of time.)
