○ 金属粉の種類
金消粉 --- 金箔を粉々にした非常に細かな粉です。 広い面積に延びるように蒔けます。
銀消粉 --- 銀箔を粉々にした粉で、 金よりも若干粒子が粗いです。 銀は非常に白く美しい金属ですが、 経年とともに少しずつ黒く変色していきます。

Handy guide (booklet and video), raw lacquer, acrylic board, plastic spatula, bamboo spatula, brush, dropper, dry abrasive paper (No.320), waterproof paper (No.1000), diamond file, masking tape, vinyl gloves, wood powder, whetstone powder, bengara powder (black/red), gold eraser powder (0.1g), silver eraser powder (0.3g), cotton wool (gold) Gold eraser powder (0.1g), silver eraser powder (0.3g), cotton wool (for gold and silver eraser powders) *Use raw lacquer for about one year.
 
 
○Kinds of metal powders
Kinkeshifun - Very fine powder made from gold leaf. It can be sprinkled over a large area.
 
Silver powders are made from silver foil and are slightly coarser than gold. Silver is a beautiful white metal, but it gradually darkens over time.
 
 
○What to prepare at home
Lacquer bath (see p.14 for how to make), flour, water, ethanol (you can use rubbing alcohol), oil (salad oil, rapeseed oil, olive oil), tissue wrap, cellophane tape, scissors, A4 copy paper or tracing paper, 2 scoops, design cutter (if available) Ethanol is available at pharmacies, drugstores, etc.
